Shishir Poddar is a 3rd-generation leader in natural graphite. With over 35 years of experience, Shishir Poddar has built more than nine processing plants across the value chain of natural graphite in multiple jurisdictions. He has immense experience and expertise in these materials and processing technologies. The heart of the Group's plant and machinery is designed by Shishir Poddar.
Shishir Poddar has led various graphite companies throughout his career, building strong businesses, and his expertise spans operations, finance, business development, supply chain management, mining, exploration, corporate affairs, government liaison, engineering, capital markets, and industrial policies. Shishir Poddar has historically founded successful mining and processing plants for graphite in India and Africa. He has successfully raised more than US$40 million and built the world's lowest-cost operations in natural graphite in his previous roles. Additionally, Shishir Poddar has experience in operating chemical processing plants for graphite-based materials and is the guiding force behind the Group's operations across specialty graphite products.
Additionally, Shishir Poddar has been member of the National Board for MSME as a Special Invitee, Government of India, with wide contributions in the sphere of industrial policy and development. He has delivered keynote addresses in various forums like the Parliamentary Committee for Industries, India. He holds significant expertise in financial analysis and project construction and is the key driver for the present and planned projects.
